Default "cheap" brake rotors for track?

I'm sure there are a million threads but...

I was buying Stoptech power slot rotors through Rock Auto but they don't seem to carry them anymore.

I just cracked a rotor after 14 track days. Rotor was cracked through the top of the outer driver side face. The previous rotor was cracked through in two places 180* apart, same side of car.

Is it possible the caliper is binding? or if stopped etc. the rotor cracked where it was sitting 'inside' the caliper.

I don't have air dux but fogs are out.

Zimmerman? FCP Euro? blanks? Do they last any better? or do I just keep a good stock of cheap replacement rotors until I go BBK?

How long do BBK rotors last?

Buy a set from FCP Euro with a lifetime warranty. They'll replace them for free. Every set after the first one purchased will be covered.

Brake cooling will help you a lot... weíve done a ton of endurance races on centric rotors.

The FCP warranty thing isn’t worth it. How much are you going to pay for shipping to return your old rotors? Centric blanks from Rockauto can be had for $50-60 shipped, and you don’t have to haul used rotors to the post office.

That depends. Do the Meyle components suffer from cracking? They're $54fr/46rr on FCP and each set replaced is only the cost of shipping back. I don't think they'll cost you $50 to ship back, so worst case you pay 1.5x for 2 sets of rotors.
