Default Ecs vs bimmerworld vanos line?

Hack Engineering Vanos Oil Line- $85
https://hackengineering.glopal.com/e..._content=en_GB

Colors
Transparent Red, Blue, Gold, Transparent Blue, Transparent Purple, Green, Yellow, Orange, Black, White, Transparent, Red, Carbon Fiber Look.

Among other Vanos issues with the S54, the high pressure oil line between the accumulator and the Vanos unit itself is known to crack through vibration, causing nasty oil leaks and running problems. We devised this line to stop that issue. 1200psi of oil pressure and the vibrations experienced through the engine mean that the standard solid line often splits around the fittings. This line is rated to beyond 7350psi and unlike rival hoses, it carries a lifetime warranty and does not require annual replacement. It is also fitted with heatshielding material and is made here in the UK. Comes complete with Genuine BMW crush washers, P-clips for secure fitting and pre-fitted heatshield material.

LIFETIME WARRANTY. Replaces BMW part number 11367837614.

This is the piece I bought, mostly because the BW was out of stock but good deal with the lifetime warranty. I do think it has a higher rating then all the others. I personally think itís a bit longer than it needs to be but I keep it tucked away. When I was doing my vanos work the hardline was in the way and I didnít like the idea of bending/weakening it so I bought a high pressure braided line instead.

I wish I had seen this before I bought the RE Vanos line a year ago, oh well. The RE line is rated over 3000 psi and the Hack is 7350 psi. Lifetime warranty and different color options!

RE Vanos Line-$59

Ya unfortunately. I just placed an order for a few items and shipping was $15.

Use Hack's UK site. Easier to navigate and does not contain "out of stock" items. Their global site is missing features and many parts are "out of stock." I exchanged a few emails with Ben and he noted:
"The transparent lines are made to order (we hold carbon-look in stock only) - lead time is approx a week to your door"
