Default Fender liners

Im running brake duct backing plates and was wondering if any of the e36 models came without the rectangular hole in the liners? I planned on just filling them in with some plastic but since i'm going to be replacing mine, i thought i'd see if there was a cleaner solution. Obviously don't want road trash being thrown through the open hole.

Oh, sorry, yeah I think the 328 liners don’t have the ducts.

They are the same as M3.

Interesting topic, Tom. I don't know the answer to this one.

Same part number for all e36's so I imagine they're all the same (i.e. have the cutout).

They come pre-cut unlike some other items that simply have cutting marks (e.g. door cards and brake ducts).

I've found Gorilla tape to adhere well to the fender liner. Could work as a quick and dirty blockoff.

yes I came to the same conclusion. I'm planning to just make templates out of a similar material to fill the holes without making it look like crap.

That is exactly what I did.
