This is quite a thread.
I recommend you find a medium, quiet gets old fast. Find a nice sounding exhaust that is not ridiculously loud and have fun:
-Dinan
-SS sport or (Race with two extra resonators upstream)
-Scorza
-Or go custom

I would probably search for an SS Street muffler if I were to do it all over again. Don't forget to pull your hood pad off too. That helps some.
Good to know about the Eisenmann Sport. I have removed the hood pad, surprisingly makes a big difference.

Personally, I haven't ever cared too much for loud exhaust systems. Has a certain stigma about it IMO.

I want to draw attention to myself in a differnt way e.g. my beautiful car

Scorza gets super loud, especially at WOT. Can't rock it anymore.

That would be cool man, I understand how it can be sometimes making the time.

Should be having one around the beginning of May

Mine’s very balanced between induction and exhaust noises, fantastic tone with very little rasp, but definitely on the quiet side.

Evolve CSL airbox
SS stepped headers
SS Catted sec 1
SS resonated sec 2
Dinan sec 3

Only thing i don’t like is that the fake Dinan tips are stupid and they bother me, even though no one ever notices. And i wish it would be a little bit louder, but not at the expense of the tone/more rasp/balance

Yeah the fake tips on the Dinan is something I cant get over, unfortunately. They sound truly beautiful though.

I dig this thread!

Have realized older I get, less tolerance for drone I have.

Would like to add Euro headers+ quality (Euro Cat equivalent) Section 1. Usually hard to find light mileage Euro Sect1; so looking for alternative.

I have SS Sport, CPI RTX, SS Res Sect2 and wide open it might even be quieter than the BMW Perf exhaust on my E90 330. sometimes i wish it had a little more volume, but like yesterday when i was cruising on the highway at 85, it wasn't droning, and was comfortable i was very grateful.

once i finally get the Evolve airbox on i'm guessing i won't give two shits about the exhaust note. i could see potentially going to an unresonated sect 2, but i wanted so bad to get rid of the rasp i threw every resonator possible at it.

If you really wanted to quiet it down maybe stick a 2 in/2out muffler in the section 2, if you can find space for it.

good recs per above.
you may want to consider a milltek muffler as well. i don't think it was brought up in the discussion above.
