My Autosolutions Shifter is still excellent after eleven years and 43k miles, actually better than when it was new. It took a few hundred miles to break in as it got better with use.

I bought my car new and hated the stock shifter's length of throws and lack of precision. The AS kit went in after 13k miles. Best mod I've done and would never go back.

Iím on the website and it doesnít look like they make a kit specifically for the M3, just 323-328, am I missing something or in the wrong area?

What should I expect to pay for the Auto Solutions kit?
Also how much should the shifter rebuild part of it run?

Sorry if these are newbie questions, still learning this stuff.

the AS kit I got was limited run on a group buy here on the forum. after a set number of pre-purchase orders he made them.

the kit comes with a lot of parts that one usually buys for a refresh/rebuilt. lots of OEM nylon bushings are replaced. look at the ETK (realoem.com) for diagram of parts to get an idea. the most important ones are the front carrier bushing and the bearing cup for the lever. but all of them add up to make it tighter. ECS Tuning now makes a rear poly bushing (nonodea if thatís good or not).

something also that happens is the transmission mounts wear out and makes shifting feel imprecise.

but donít go buying parts until you decide which lever, selector rod, or kit you buy because you may/may not need all as being duplicates.

Perfect, thank you. Yes already running the ZHP knob.

Will he reach out to me or how do I coordinate specifics with him?
