I just completed front brakes. I like the feel and looks of the brakes that I have decided to do the rear brakes asap. I have already ordered the rear calipers.

Did I read it right my rear rotors on my 04 M3 will work?

I have a question. What did you torq the 996 adapter & the caliper to the adapter?

all the e46m3's uses the same dimensions for the rear rotors, the us got cheap 1 piece steel rotor while euro/csl (and us zcp?) uses semi floating rotors with aluminium center hats, but they are all 328x20mm and that is what the kit is meant to use. so yeah, oem rotors can be used, but best result is achieved with new rotors and pads at the same time.
also reduses bead in time and chances of squeling etc due to uneven rotor surface that does not match the new pads.

been using this thread as my guild book while putting together my own 996 BBK...

one quick question, anyone out there try the other rear rotor options?

im leaning towards the OEM CSL rear rotors....but i love the 'bling' look of the ECS Tuning 2-Piece rotors, but $700 for rear rotors when the fronts are only $530 seems like highway robbery.

$336 Rear OEM: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...282303304~oem/

$700 Rear ECS 2-Piece: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-ecs-part...0/011699ecskt/

any other options out there i may have overlooked?

thanks!
