So I've done this set up minus the OE AUX Retrofit since I made a cable. It plays via the BT transmitter then it cuts out? What gives? I have to unplug it and plug it back in for the HU to find AUX again. Any ideas? It works fine when I plug my phone into the cable however.

Thread revival! (as it's the most appropriate one I've found)

I've got an 03 without nav. My aux cable just died (caught under the seat rails, shorted out) and I figure this is a good time to get bluetooth onto the car too. Any recommendations for getting bluetooth (phone+audio) into the car without having any cables up front? I was looking at the Grom unit but from my understanding it needs exposed cables upfront.
