Question MOV'IT BBK Question(s)

Hey party people!

I was recently given an old MOV'IT BBK with 993TT/996 calipers and I'm having a hard time locating instructions regarding modifications to the knuckles for the radial brackets.

I know this kit is almost 15 years old and it might be a long shot, but would any of the sages in here have any memory or ideas regarding this before I just take out an angle grinder and start removing material?

I already emailed Steve at Ultimate Garage as well, since he was one of the original importers for this kit.

Thanks and happy driving!

I had this kit on my 328i but it came with E36 adapter brackets, but not to make them radially mounted. You sure you have the correct ones?

I don't have the creative radial mounts, I have the original ones from MOV'IT.

These guys:

The problem is that they don't line up against the knuckle perfectly, they're offset slightly due to the knuckle shape.

I've seen some of the other kits require modification, like this one for the rear on the E39(?):

Looks like the top hats for the rear will require removal of the ebrake assembly and grinding down the cable bracket.

😬
