Hi,

I'm Mike Mak, the owner of TPS Motorsports, and we definitely do not offer preferential treatment to Mustang or Vette Club members. We specialize in domestic performance cars specifically Mustangs and Corvettes... does not mean we give them preferential treatment.. no. We treat all customers the way we would like to be treated regardless of how much money they spend.

As far as the negative reviews on Yelp are concerned, we believe they are false for several reasons.. #1-they seemed to have happened around the same time and #2-I have tried contacting the reviewers in question without getting a reply back.

Before passing judgment on me, my staff or my shop come on down and see what we are about. I think your experience will be MUCH different than the negative reviews on Yelp. The biggest problem I have with Yelp is there is no way to verify if a review is legitimate.... you can make a fake negative review about some one and they will allow it to stand. I have no problems with some one posting a negative review about us if indeed they were not treated right.

BTW, we have a Toy & Food Drive/ Car Show this Sunday Dec 12th which is open to all cars... why don't you guys come on out to see what TPS is about before passing judgment.

We do offer AFR readings also but there is an additional fee.

Thanks Mike for taking the time to clarify and welcome to the forum.

One question I have about the deal is that if we are uninterested in the $40 maintenance credit (nothing against your shop, I just like to DIY), would it be possible to exchange the credit for additional pulls and/or AFR readings?

Also, what is the likelihood that you will have a similar promotion to your "3 pulls for $50 in December" for the month of January?

I'm just trying to weigh my options since your dyno deals are excellent and I will be looking to dyno sometime in January.

I'd be in, on top of the groupon deal I picked up, I will need additional pulls at a later time.

THE POWER OF YELP IS GREAT
Yelp provides a good services to consumers BUT the bad part is when false reviews are posted about a business. For you to solely judge me, my staff, and business over some anonymous fake reviews is wrong. The internet is not gospel and people should be careful before making quick judgments about an individual or business because of a few posts. We're a small business trying to make a living and do great work... are we perfect no and when we do make mistakes we do every thing in our power to make the customer happy. You may or may not understand but your statement above, based on Yelp reviews, can end up impacting the lively hood of people without any personal experience.

Do a search on CorvetteForum.com about "TPSMAK" or TPS Motorsports and you will see ALOT of testimonials from satisfied customers,

taking it to pm's

Im glad to see you here making an effort to address people's concerns.

I spoke too soon after reading the bad reviews; I have since decided to disregard those so that i can establish my own opinion of the shop.

Unfortunately, YELP does have a lot of power in deciding people's minds.
At first i only saw the 1 star feedback. Once i read the actual reviews i realized that the issues being talked about weren't really that big of a deal, especially not to me.

Hopefully i can help you out by writing a good review.

I missed out on this great deal. I hope there'll be another one coming up soon. I would love to see what kind of numbers my car is putting out before I put on some 200 cell cats.

Hey, I think I've seen your car around before. Do you work out at the 24 hour in Castro Valley? There's a black M with LM's practically identical to yours that I see every once in a while there.
