Are you willing to share approximate costs associated with all those repairs and upgrades?

Nice OP. you will love the car when all the work is done.

the downside is for the price of all this work he could probably buy a used m5

Honestly, the best person to get a price from would be Andrew himself. There are base prices on his website, but as you know I am getting a lot of custom work done. Andrew responds to emails fairly quickly and he is a very nice person so go ahead and email him or call him. If you would like to have a quote for a set up similar to mine then just mention my name "Gunner" and he will know which build you are talking about. Thanks!

No offense, but I would take a built S54 in an E46 M3 over an M5 any day.

Have any interest in getting the 3.4/5L stroke kit from VAC while you're at it? Looking forward to the rebuild!

Lang Racing builds 3.4/5L strokers but it's out of my price range, considering all of the other custom work I'm getting done.

Yes sir. A good friend of mine in my car crew owns one. It's a great car and it's faster than a stock E46 M3 but not by much. It's a big heavy car with four doors and it will never look or handle as good as an E46 M3, no matter how much you modify it. Maybe when I'm older and have kids....
