Default Pictures of my vanos codes and problems! help!

Got a check engine light, and got this codes using autologic, did the vanos test and it showed the following error. I dont have any rough idle but my car seem kinda slow after 4k rpm..no limp mode . I swapped the solenoid with a used one to see if the code didnt showed up again, in fact it came back..i can reset the CEL but it comes on after a couple of miles. what could be this errors? should i get a refurbished vanos from drvanos? i dont want to spent serious cash without knowing the culprit, thanks!

I Swapped 2 solenoids that appears to be on good working order, and the same code shows...I dont know what to do, if i should replace the actuator or what! please help!

If i were you, i would pop the valve cover and inspect for broken tabs on the exhaust cam gear Vanos spline hub. There are a few threads about it on here. The tabs drive the high pressure oil pump, and if they are broken off, there's not enough oil pressure for the vanos to work, which may mean a loss of power.

Default loose vanos bolts or timing?..questions!

I have a concern...will loose bolts throw a code or something? how is the only possible way to verify this?

Im getting the B9 code and i swapped the noid and im getting the same code and CEL

Or can this be a out of time issue

Car is deff short on power..on the upper range...also you can feel some slighty hesistation the the lower rpm.

ran the autologic vanos test and it failed, it showed that the vanos exhaust is out of tolerance

Please help thanks

What's "timming"?

And no - the loose bolts won't throw a code, and broken ones will - but it's usually that the engine is destroyed.

Since I dunno what the autologic vanos test is - can't comment on it. You might ask the autologic people what it means - they are really excellent for support.
