Thanks guys, great idea and a valuable asset for anyone trying their hand at DIY's on their e46. The right tool makes all the difference with making a difficult job easy to do.

I'd like to make a suggestion if I could. Maybe when a tool is rented out, instead of removing it from the post why don't you add a tag to it as rented and also put an ETA on when it will be back (when the rental period is over). This way, people who come to the thread know what's available now and what could be available in the future, assuming the tool is up for rent again. How does that sound?

![]() Ah gocha. I just figured if you were going through the trouble of removing the tool and readding it later, then just adding a [Rented] mark and a date (either date rented or date to be returned) would be easier. Edit: Also I realized where I went wrong. I thought you had removed ThunderMoose's tools because they were rented but it turns out I saw them farther down the thread in a separate post.

Side note: Just because a tool already has a name on the list doesn't mean you shouldn't also be on the list-- multiple suppliers is better for each tool! Nor does pricing having to be the same for each person.

I have a autologic, but I don't see it being worth the risk to ship it, so if anyone was close to IL, WI, they could stop by.

Would like to rent a RTAB removal tool. I'm located in Phoenix so for the sake of shipping time the sooner the better.
