Default SMG clutch just beginning to slip...adjust ?

When I shift from 2nd to 3rd gear, I get a shudder (but rpms don't climb) like the clutch isn't quite holding the torque. Can the SMG system be adjusted for clutch wear ? Is this done with software ? What would the dealer charge to make this adjustment ( out of warranty ) ?

I get the same exact thing but going from 1st to 2nd. Been told my a BMW Master Mechanic M Specialist that this is normal for the SMG. When I asked "then why didn't my car always do this?" His response was "that's just what happens sometimes..."

I do notice that it's not as bad in sport mode.

The mechanics of the clutch are self-adjusting, but if the SMG reset doesn't work, you can have your clutch adaptation values reset using something like a GT1 (bmw dealer or indy), or AutoEnginuity.
