Default Re: New radiator carís almost overheating. Wasnít bled.

Was the car running fine under all conditions before you changed the radiator? Or did you change it to fix an overheating problem? Eventually the Head gaskets on these cars fail, but along the way so do most parts of the cooling system ó radiator, hoses, tank, thermo/housing, fans, pump, etc.

Is any fan working? Is the electric fan in front coming on? Is the mechanical fan just free spinning or is it engaging?

Check the aux fan is coming on. When I did the fan delete and was relying on the aux, it blew the fuse. If that’s good then yes probably water pump or thermostat.

Iím going to replace the water pump and thermostat and see if that fixes it. If it doesnít I will get another clutch fan and continue to narrow things down.

I wouldn't start replacing stuff until you've diagnosed the problem.
