Sometimes sun flare can add to the shot, if (intentionally) artistically & properly framed.

As propman points out - try not to shoot directly into the sun if you don't want it. Lighting is key in photography and you neither really want your subject in direct, bright sunlight, nor the sun blowing out your image.

PS: a lens hood, generally, can help with glare.

Classes are great and all - but get out there and shoot shoot shoot.

PPS: there are NO noob questions allowed in here, so you will likely get infracted for your question, sorry.
just kidding hehe

Thanks! Those are all amazing shots!
The classes will be at Canonís HQ not too far from my job. Either way I definitely WILL get out and shoot shoot shoot lol.
The show is from 10am-4pm.

You might want to get a Circular Polarizing Filter (CirPol or CPL) and learn how to use it before your car event. A cirpol can be of major importance in automotive shooting. Be sure to get a good one, the cheapos are crap.

My skinny ass in front of the Bullitt car. Really wish I'd have dragged my ass down there after dark for an illuminated-like-the-other-monuments shot, but it was a long weekend and I was cooked.

I miss empty parking lots

I take my M3 to Home Depot all the time and itís sandwiched between cars and 187, free roaming shopping carts. Takes 17 minutes to find a space, no matter what time of day.

Itís awesome how practical these things are.
