Yup I was there. You left early didn't you? I remember seeing pics of your m there. I got there around 11am with the big North Jersey Caravan (about 15-20 m's). I am from Central NJ. Monmouth County to be exact.

May 22nd 2010:

After waiting patiently for a month I finally got my Auras in and installed along with some new windshield wipers (Idea from M3freak 86 have to give credit where credit is due) which work great on the car and are much better looking!

The Auras install was painful. Took me about three full hours and I have wired many things before. The wiring was easy the problem was getting the rings wired through the back of the light housings laparoscopically so to speak without having to remove the headlights. Dont know if it was a bad way to attack the install or not but it saved me the hastle of removing them. Was bleading from just about every one of my fingers because its really sharp back there.

The outcome was worth it however as I believe they add alot to the car! They look very different in a photo for some reason.

Wiring pictures *Balast placement*

Tried to keep everything neat and tidy but that brown wire to the interior light is still hanging there a bit! There is really nowhere in that box to ziptie it to so I may just have to live with it!

Wipers

Had a clearence issue with the light bezel and the outside angel eye. Maybe someone that has these could chime in. The outer angel eye is off center on the projector because that is the position I had to put it in to get propper clearence from the black bezel which as you know snaps into placement there! Looks noticable in the pictures but its not on the road at all!

Look good buddy. Thanks for the credit on the Bosch Icon wipers. Really does update the look of the car surprisingly and they really get the job done well.

AE's look normal, no worries. The ring has to be a bit off center to fit properly.

We are startin to look like twins man lol. But check back next weekend in my journal. A new mod that will seperate us apart! BTW, what's the ballast for?

Yeah definitely starting to look like twins! Next rouge meet or whoever is having one we will have to park together.

Those balast (little boxes) are some sort of control unit for the angel eyes. You probibly have them yourself however when lightwerkz wired them they did a better job of hiding them then I did!

I'm going to the vintage BMW meet on June 19th. You should head down there. It's gunna be a good time.

OOooh ok. I realize what they are now. They looked like metal ballasts in the pics, that's why I asked. Mine are hidden
