Hey guys, I thought I'd leave my because I sell tires for a living. I sell Nexens and used to sell Lexanis. I've found for normal use IE: daily driving, city, highway and that kind of thing, you really can't go wrong with "cheap" tires. A tire is a tire, unless you're using it for a special reason like track, drag strip or that kind of thing, then you might want to start looking into softer compounds and such. I've ran cheap ass tires and "good" tires and they are all the same pretty much for daily use. ANY tire brand will have faulty tires, period! I don't care if you spend $700 on some G/Y eagle F1's, if you buy/sell enough of them, you'll see some defects. With that said, if you're just using them for daily driving, look into what's cheapest...

Probably because they wont accept all the warranty returns on them! Too much of a liability for Tirerack

Remember that monster shunt of his in Canada? The next day, as he walked out of hospital, a journalist asked him if he'd seen the crash on TV. Robert Kubica stopped, looked the journo right in the eye and said: "I've seen it twice: the first time I was there!"

I Had a Rear set of the Nexen 3000 n , I went on a 1000 km trip and they both got bubbles and deformed causing heavy vibration's , I think one should not pump the tyres to Bmw recommended Pleasures , keep them at 2,5 bar and use Nitrogen as air expands to much , Any way i now have a rear set of Federals mmmm lets see , but maybe the 300 km is just to fast

I came to post my N3000's have started to split. Interestingly enough, the worst splitting tire is the one that consistently loses pressure. Not sure if the chicken or the egg: i.e. if the splitting caused the slow leak or the slow leak caused the splitting.

Time for new tires. I would venture the tires were bought in 2010 (by PO) and they have around 10K on them.

Yeah these tires are really great! Yeah right. These things might as well have "ditch finder" embossed in the sidewall. In fact, Nexen Ditch Finders - sounds good to me.

There is a stamp on the tires for production week and year (ex- 5113, 51st week 2013 year), next to a DOT stamp so that will tell you how old they are.
