Check the connections under the seat..I had the same thing happen a few years ago and it was just a wire that had gotten disconnected.

Do I know what connections I'm looking for? The heating elements in the seat still work so it's just the forward/backwards/tilt function. And also the seat is stuck all the way forward so it's hard to manipulate under there..any recommendations? TIA

look for a yellow box. the back side of that box connects to all the motor in the seat. the side of the box has a black square tab. separate that black tab from the yellow box and it will remove the harness. try re-seating the harness. also check for loose plug in back of the harness.

turns out it wasn't the yellow box connections, all i got from that was a passenger seat belt light. It does look like I can get the seat out now if I do lift it up for "rear passenger entry". But then what? Am I looking to replace motors? And isn't it a big coincidence that both the tilt and forward/backward function went out at the same time?? Thanks again guys!!

it could be the control module on the side of the seat.

have you checked your fuses?

Ya I checked the "passenger seat fuse" (just one), is there more than 1 I should be checking? and how do I check the control module?
