Did you already try and run it in S6?
With a warm engine, rev up to redline in second gear and hit the + paddle to shift to third, without letting your foot of the throttle.
It should shift to third instantly and very abrupt.
Carefull on wet roads though, or you get something like this (skip past the first 35 sec):

But I gues if it doesn't work in S5, S6 should probably feel the same.
Can't imagine your clutch is worn though, with only 51.000km. My M has about the same and it feels like it's new.

That's my phone. I've got a build in oem wireless telephone in the center console (with handsfree stuff and output to the nav display).
The sim card is inserted, but I don't always key in the pin code to activate it.
As soon as it's activated, it's green, I think...

Thank you for your answers and sorry to not answer more quickly, but I was in holidays.

John -> What do you mean by "BMW AG" ? I don't know the french translation for that.

Illusionz X -> I don't think that I had the smg software update, but I should already have the last one since my car is a Phase II no ?

AG is German for SA. It is the BMW parent company. The regional expert is a technical representative of BMW SA (AG), not the dealer network and acts both as an expert for solving problems and the decision maker as to repairs that BMW SA takes responsibility for or are the dealer's responsibility.

Some dealers who have screwed up aren't too happy when the regional expert gets called in, as he may decide that a dealer's bonus under the BMW bonus system be reduced if the dealer has given bad service.
