Default My M3

intro:

Hey guys my name is jared. I've been yearning a e46 m3 for some time now. The s54, the timeless looks, the analog feel. I can go on but you get the point. So much car for so little money spent. (before mods )
I've been curved twice trying to obtain one of these so to finally have one feels good. one that is. not owned by the bank. nor funded by mommy and daddy.
I have a long history w 240sx lmao but ill save that for another day. great cars. (kinda)
s/o zilvia.
this is my second m3 had a e36 before this. handled so good but not my cup of tea. gives me 240sx vibes lmao. but still a awesome s54-less car nonetheless.
I can ramble on ab myself and cars all day. now onto the good stuff.
oh also s/o obioban for helping me get this account and not having to buy one off another user

kar

I purchased this car like a month or 2 ago for 8gs off zilvia lol.
has 193k but you couldn't tell if I never told you. well unless you looked underneath it LOL. 6spd. jet-black. no nav. sunroof (will be gone soon)
it sounded pretty alright, the paint was Clean and it was a 6spd coupe for 8gs with 193k!! what could possibly go wrong? well like all right minded people would do is have a ppi done. I didn't have one and bought the car cash. fugit right?
he said the rod bearings were done. but idk if that should make me feel better or worse. lol. other then me doing a few naughty numbers on the OP and 135 I don't really drive it as I'm afraid of it exploding or falling apart on itself lmao.

I will update with pictures and the huge pile of parts i have sitting in my room awaiting energy and patience to install tm. hope I didn't bore you guys too much the mods and updates will be worth it. want to make lots of friends and connections on here so get used to me lol. also have a few ideas for products I've been working on. see ya soon!

This is like 2 weeks ago when i had a ar20 welded into my section 1. I recommend this to anyone and everyone running a stock section 1. Sounds 10x better.

Car is currently on bc coilovers from previous owner. Will most likely going tck in near future but ill be riding on these in meantime. I honestly threw lots if shade at bc because scene kid but i had a set on the e36 m3 i had (car came with them aswell)
And i must say for a dd they ride very nicely not too harsh and handle bumps and f#%^ed up roads great.

Thats all i have right now....i think lmao.
My auto solutions ssk will hopefully be here at the end of the week.
I opted for the cartridge/autocross style shifter (more expensive and shinier option)
With a 20% reduction.. s/o ronald.

I don’t drive the car at all much right now
Due to being afraid of breaking it in its current state. Im kind of just stock piling until i can do mostly everything at once and move on to kooler/lighter things.

Next few movement will probably be
headers leaning towards csl and
Supersprint x pipe.
I also need to actually finish my vanos build I’ve been kind of avoiding it tbh.
I need the cam alignment tool and beisan oil pump disc still. thats all I’m missing.

After exhaust and vanos is taken care of i will head into finishing my rear end rebuild. If you guys have any suggestions on what else i can do back there let me know!
I will be going with the turner reinforcement plates and it will be welded in at rogue engineering they quoted me a great price and i feel they know what they’re doing.

So yea thats where i am right now ill be updating more as i start installing and stuff.

I always update at the worst times lmfao.

So vac sap delete will be here tm.
Its black anodized its kool. Pics up tm.

AS ssk will be here this week

Supersprint muffler tips should be here soon too.
Cant wait to mount those up onto my ghettofab section3
Itll look good tho

Heen contemplating headers.

Ive read just about every thread/post under the sun so far ab headers. Its actually kinda silly at this point. I was going to go ss v1 (and still might)
But swaintech coated euro headers seem like a hard to beat option

Things holding me back from the v1s
lll be running the VT trans brace ive read people having issues regarding the larger diameter headers/section one while using this brace/mount combo.
Thats just added risk right out of the gate if i opt to go v1
Not only that but i would have to do a custom section 1 because of this.
And thats assuming that i dont run into issues with the headers hitting the brace.

Theyre raspy. There i said it. And while we’re on the topic i think all supersprint products are rasp monsters. (Disclaimer: this opinion has been forumlated by youtube videos and therefore is subject to regression)

Priorities.
That few extra whp would come out to an additional 1500 or so dollars most likely.
Thats enough to get my subframe reinforced. And on a car w 193k and little to no maintenance just alot of luck. Maintenace must come before mods. This is not to say that maintenance can be mods in disguise (bbk, bc your rotors are worn, coilovers bc leaky shocks, monoball rtab bc your bushing is worn) you get the idea. But in this particular instance. This is indeed a mod not a maintenance mod.

Maintenance>mods

This is all here say atm. Im still debating.

Euro vs ss v1

The euros are just a bangin deal lol

Oe quality and solid tq for pennies on the dollar whennext to ssv1.

Alot to think about still.

Also eyeing a supersprint resonated x pipe if i find a good deal.
900 for a x pipe? Cmon its really not that nice im sorry.
Im literally the biggest advocate for dumping money into your build but cmon guys lol.
Stg resonated x pipe $475 not bad.

But i wouldnt buy either new rather just wait on here and fish for a nice deal lol.
