Car looked great at shows, congrats on the purchase. Am curious to how different it will be from driving your first M3 with the ESS kit and this one with the VFE570 kit

Thanx man. Honestly not expecting it to b nearly as strong. It has no reinforcement, sways, headers, sec 2, mounts, clutch, meth, or anything besides 570, sec 3, and kw2s and its on 3pc 20s. The build will b starting when I get back from deployment and fixes will start on Saturday as long as it arrives on sked this time.

Finally spent some time with ess car today on highway and street and it is nucking futs!!! Lost traction in shift from 2nd to 3rd at close to red line. The new tensioner, BOV, and especially the upgraded tune made a huge diff. I do not expect the same from VF kit until I have played with it a little if I don't just say oh well and possibly turbo it. We will see. Debating that or Ultima GTR.

you can own a ultima GTR for 30 grand? thats wild..??

i am quite impressed with your builds and the ability to do so on Hawaii as things are 2x as expensive to do anything there. you must be a captain .

have you driven a HPF car. would you rather a turbo or supercharger

No but 30k goes a long ways toward 50 for a used one. A e46 m3 costs around 20k. I'm not a capt.

I would like one turbo'd and one SC'd. I have not driven an HPF but I have an idea of what it would be like reaching max boost by 3k RPMs or so. As I have told all these companies the most fun I have ever had has been on my uncle's Yamaha Banshee. I grew up riding those, dirt bikes, and snowmobiles. Both side of my family raced and I have always liked the 2 stroke or power band feel. Thats my thing. I want the same two stroke feel out of my car now that I live in metropolitan area and enjoy this style of living. I am told that a turbo will give me that feel more so than the SC will so I will see what happens.

So the car is finally here!!!! It has so much fallout and junk on it I refuse to post photos at this point. Also I was not able to lower the rear end back down yet so it looks like a monster truck in the rear and we had a flood warning for the first half of the day too. So tomorrow I am planning to lower and clean the tar out of it. After that I will be posting some pics and my dad is bringing a go pro so maybe some video too.

Driving the car was a blast. It feels like my ESS with less of a high end before I fixed my kit. So not nearly as powerful but it goes pretty good. Absolutely feels good down low.

There is plenty of stuff I will need to fix on it as it has little issues here and there with wiggly mirrors, chips, look molding, some edges of upholstery coming off, in serious need of in depth detailing, look blinkers, horrible center console, and all the stuff mentioned prior. The clear coat on the roof also appears to be having some issues.

It was still a great deal and people were literally chasing me down to ask questions about the car.

Ok a couple....but no making fun of my monster truck!!:

Yeah, thats right.. even my neighbors drive boosted M3s!! LOL:

And thats all til tomorrow.
