Thumbs up Dealer Service Codes

I recently went to the dealer to have some work done and while I was there I had the guy pull up the Vehicle History report. This shows how many times your BMW has been serviced at a BMW dealer, where the Dealer was located, the mileage of the car when serviced and the Date the service was performed. Unfortunately it just gives a service code of what was serviced on the car.

I found this site: http://www.tmk.com/defect-form from a post on bimmerfest.com that lists all service codes and descriptions as of 2003. Pretty handy to see what's been replaced or changed on your car since it was first purchased.

enjoy!

Holy Fawk. Perfect. This is going in the FAQ section. Now I can decode my Vehicle History.

Ok guys i was able to hack into BMW NA's main frame and found this code

84500199 Not a BMW

when i looked it up further this code was from a dealer in Ontario:

Customer states he has a 98 M3/4
Tech advises customer he has no M3 but a Chevy Lumina

Salty?????
