Pray it does... it might save your motor from him. (Check your minimum timing advance values)

Shadeeeee hahaha

if you know how to use tuner pro itís pretty easy to copy the tune over to a manual variant using the compare tool. Just have to understand where some of the differences are related to smg and manual. FYI

@RJskalet I got in a fight with that guy cuz he broke someones cruise control on their 540 and wouldnt fix it... i was mind boggled there are many other vendors that are WAY more supportive

The only experience i have with manual swapping stuff is Bosch Me7.2 in the 540i/740i. This particular car toggles the starter relay differently in automatic vs manual cars and I was doing extensive research to apply 1 universal map binary to multiple models with some config switches

if you feel like poking over my change list in my other thread that would be cool.
I am curious if you can take an SMG binary and flip those 2x byte sets from SMG>Manual and run the car on a manual transmission without DTC for EGS disconnected etc

If that is the case when doing a SMG>Manual why dont you pull the partial read and flip the 2x identity bytes for SMG vs Manual flash back?
