Default M4 Expected Reliability

Just wondering what everyone thinks the reliability of the M4 is like compared to the e46 M3 and e9x M3. What are the most common issues right now? Although it's a bit early to tell.

It seems like with FI now and all this new electronic junk in cars there's a lot that can go wrong in 10 years. I'm thinking about long term ownership. I've had the e46 M3 6MT for about 12 years now.

I have found its reliability and running costs up to 165K miles acceptable so far.
