Okey...

I have read my DME (MSS54) with bmwflash and modify it with a hex editor.

But my fullread BIN file have a 512KB

I can not reflash my DME via bmwflash becouse file is too big.

I need a 32KB (tune file) how to prepair it ?

Read the tune only (say no when it asks if you want to pull the full binary), then modify that and flash it back.

And make sure you've got overwrite on, in your hex editor rather than insert

It looks like the XDFs over at Github are getting fixed for these values:
Code:
KL_SMG_KUPP_M_AB_ZH
KL_SMG_KUPP_M_AB_ZR
KL_SMG_KUPP_M_AB_SH
KL_SMG_KUPP_M_AB_SR

Did I miss covering anything in that post? Just curious!

I set mine up some time ago and they've just been bouncing around from tune to tune.

Could you re-upload your pictures on imgur or another service? All of your great photos on photobucket are no longer with us.

I have to find them, but if I can't I will definitely work on populating some new ones.

Plus, I need to share the other SMG tuning mods that will dramatically improve shift time. Think I'll start a sequel thread, as the changes are very sensitive to PID control between DME and SMG controller.

Thanks.

The SMG tuning sounds interesting. I'm on my second M3 and my first had the CSL/SMG tuning performed and I never felt like it was a "must-have" modification. At this point I'm leaning towards not flashing my second M3 with the changes because I can just set it in 4 or 5 and be good (vs 3 or 4 on the first car) and I won't have to switch out of Auto mode each time I start the car.
