Default SMG transmission problem

Hi Guys was wandering if anyone has come across this problem, was driving in s5 as normal in 3rd gear, all of a sudden the gear number started flashing, as though the SMG had shifted to neutral on its own, then i got the bell chime, (the one you get when the cars in gear and you open the door) anyway i turned the car off and back on and it still wouldnt go into gear either S or A mode, everytime i engaged a gear the numbers would flash and then the bell chimes, as i was close to home i decided to push the car (with the help of a few friends) as the car was in motion i engaged the gear and this time the number didnt flash, so i pressed the throttle and all of a sudden its fine, picked up the gear and drove me home, any ideas WTF just happened???

Sounds a little bit RANDOM to say the least.
Try resetting the system and just continue to monitor it.
If it does happen again, ring your SA ASAP.
Best of luck with the it.
