Don't lose all hope. They're many Hot Wheel customizers out there that could make one to look like your car. Unfortunately I don't think HW ever made a E46, so you might have to use a E36 or E92 as a base to work off from.

You're right, they've never done an E46. At this point they've redone the E30 M3 in at least 4-5 paint schemes including a full metal diecast. I wish they'd do an E46.

I have one of the Kyusho 1/18th scale M3s in Phoenix Yellow. I'd consider repainting it LSB if I thought I could actually do a decent job.

Yea, to the best of my knowledge they did the E30 M3, E36 M3, E92 M3, F82 M4, BMW 2002, and a few other older BMW castings. Totally surprises me they would skip the E46 M3. Hopefully they will in the future.

Interested in that beauty cover! Hopefully we can find someone to get it done.

Yea Brian I want the vents. I've seen it done before, I think a mill was used. I rather not attempt it myself.

Update: 11/19/17 PSDesigns Carbon Fibre Ram Intake Scoop and OEM Beauty Cover

I sourced a PSDesigns carbon fibre ram intake scoop. If it may possibly help airflow I'm all for it.

I was able to source a beauty cover from Frank Millo. This will be garage art until I can find someone to professionally hack it up to my liking or I try to diy myself.

Update: 11/10/17 Eventuri Intake

Yes over a month ago I purchased the Eventuri intake. I just installed it last weekend. Don't worry a CSL Airbox is still the ultimate plan but in the mean time I wanted to give this a shot.

There is a bunch of reviews on it so I'll try to keep this short. Install was easy and straight forward. I like how it looks, I decided to rotate the orientation of the plaque and remove all stickers for a clean look. Haven't driven it much but the car seems to have a little more mid range kick. I was a little disappointed in the sound however, everything I read was saying intoxicating sound but I don't think it was a huge difference. I would like to think my exhaust system isn't on the louder side and droning it out. Overall I like it I just wish it had a louder induction grunt.

As for tune and dyno I'll eventually see if Frank can squeeze anything out of my tune with my current setup. As long as I'm not loosing power I'll be happy.

I also got a PSDesigns carbon fibre ram intake scoop to help with airflow.

Nice mate!!

I just got one too and you are right. It's ok, i wanted a bit more sound but you definately cant compare it to an airbox!! For a plug and play solution and some sound its ok.

Yes, not to take away from it. Looks great, seems to be a increase in power, and does sound better. Just not as loud as I thought it would be. I need to drive it more..
And of course plug and play, nothing else needed.

I do plan on going CSL Airbox but not ready for the level of commitment yet. A lot of new stuff in the works so I'll wait.
