: (
Car should be back in action within next few weeks!

Thinking about rebuilding my motor in the not too distant future.
Im burning a nice amount of oil. Need to investigate a little more once car is back together though. Car pulls hard but would rather rebuild before i blow the bottom end out and it ends up costing me x3. need to check if the motor i have is even the oe motor with 194k who knows what i got.

Sold my sdw rtab today aswell. They were brand new so i decided to just bust a move and opt for the V2 turners. They seemed like a more thorough design.

Honestly if you’re thinking about an engine rebuild, you should just sell the car and get a new one. With all this money you are spending on mods, you could get into an m3 in nicer shape with only 100k miles or so. Instead of dumping loads on a car with 194k miles..

Engine rebuild he’ll have a fresh motor, 100k car will have 100k? He got a great deal for $8k, couple more grand on a rebuild and he’ll still be up imo

Ding Ding Ding

By the time my build eclipses the cost of a nice well maintained and documented example i will have an essentially new car.
Not to mention it will be much, much better than a stock car.
8k on a car 12k on mods and maintenance 😂

I paid $3500 for my smg car, put a low mileage motor in for 2800, now I’m 6300 into an m3 with a 90k motor. Granted the diff and tranny all have 200k on them but it seems to be holding up just fine. I think high mileage cars are the move for mods and daily’s.

Boston is financially thinking while Jared is thinking about what he can get for the the non-refundable dollar. There’s nothing bad about either route, the question is “Will you be keeping your car forever or not?”
