Default Thinking of Buying an 89 M3

What would be a good price for a 89 M3 in excellent estetic condition with some mechanical problems. 185000 miles. What are the problem areas and what should I be on the lookout for. Any info is appreciated in advance. Thank You.

185000? damn thats a whole hell of a lot.. i wouldnt pay more than 4k personally, because its going to need everything redone and thats a lot of miles and a lot of accumulated stress on the body/ frame.. be careful

HOpe this helps, I would go to the blue book website and rate the car by checking all the problems with it to get a more accurate trade in or private party value:
