Default Inside the trunk, taillight cover question

So this cover is a trim part that covers the taillight assembly from the inside of the trunk. it has a "turn to remove knob" on it: https://www.ebay.com/i/302445771398?chn=ps&dispctrl=1

It also has a little clip on the top and I don't know what is supposed to go into that clip.

The one for sale linked there on ebay is the passenger side cover. Similarly, the driver side cover has a little tray on top of it and I imagine that it would be used to hold the parts that secure the spare tire to the well during a tire change... (wing nut, metal disc and white plastic topper for the carpet to rest on)
...but the clip on the passenger sided has me confused. Nothing in the manual and a search did not turn up anything.
Who's used it or knows what it is for?

That's a drivers side cover, (they screwed up the ad, but that is drivers side.) and the clip holds the emergency triangle. (which we in the US didn't get either...) There's also the first aid kit...

Thanks! I think it would be quite cool to have those items anyway.
I have other stuff to work on as priority, maybe some day I'll seek them out.

It's only a the driver's side cover if you have a right hand drive car from the UK.

That is the passenger side (right) cover for US cars.

Correct, the clip holds the warning triangle.

Damn, wtf was I thinking...lol

Yea, passenger side. TOooo much tequila does bad things. But yes, it holds the triangle.
