Awesome. That's exactly what I'm looking for. Good flow but not too loud.

I ended up going with the SS Euro Street and the catted S54/E36 midpipe. I'm pretty stoked to get them in!

I'd go race.

Check this out this to give u an idea how load it is.

Here is my setup.

S54 customer headers with dual 2.5" ID collectors, matted to SS resonated X Euro mid section and stock Euro muffler..

I had sport before going to OE muffler. It droned at cruzing speed.

Here is a video of the race to give u an idea.

Yeah no Stromung, just Active, Milltek (on sale) UUC, Borla (on sale), Billy Boat (also known as B&B), Magnaflow, Dinan (on sale), Supersprint (on crazy sale), Corsa (bonus gift cards), Turner (ok just headers but still part of the system and on sale), and I think that's it for exhaust brand we carry for the E36 for no lol.

I don’t see the point of buying a stromung when you can get an exhaust that’s nicer for cheaper.
Stromung makes amazing product for the price, where SS just makes amazing product period.

Ehhhhhhhh. Stromung is a much nicer built exhaust for the price. SuperSprint makes good parts, but the build quality is just OK.

Really? I’ve been in stromung equipped cars. They look and sound great but seemed a bit droney at low revs. If they were both full price I’d likely pick the stromung, but in this case seems easy for me.

Ok, not quite what I said, oops... but point is the MSRP is artificially high compared to what Schmiedmann sells them for w/o discount.

You are probably right about the sound, I don't know there. I was just commenting on quality. I see some people going all gaga over the welds for example. They are no better than what I was doing when working at an exhaust manufacturing company... just OK.
