Now that's an idea I've never thought of, convert a walk-out basement into a garage! Mine is finished, but it I could pull out the carpet and do a stained/polished concrete floor- it would look like one of those exotic home garages ; )

Panjo killed bimmerforums, then photobucket finished the jobs on the rest of them. Here isn’t hugely active but if you need help people are usually quick to jump on it.

+1 The knowledge here is outstanding. A newb like myself has been impressed with the help I've gotten and seeing what these cars are capable of.
I've tried to do my reading to prevent stupid, dead horse topics but even when I've not done enough, folks are forgiving.

I also think the car culture has moved on from the e36. Also there are very few good examples with people who want to maintain them properly left. Also because they’ve been around for so long, there’s not much to discuss on them and no breakthroughs to make. This forum does have some of the better restoration threads though, especially lately.
