Depends on the oil i use
Had to top off the shell stuff with 1 qt between oil changes
TWS i generally do not have to top off...

i believe S54's are expected to consume oil to a certain degree.

I wonder if this is the sort of thing that an oil analysis could possibly tease out, in the event your car is burning oil.

You all cannot say with certainty that your S54s are not consuming at least a drop. Just because you aren't adding any oil does not mean your engines aren't consuming even a minuscule amount that in turn would be barely, if at all noticeable. Just playing the semantics card.
