No updates, still waiting on a few things before I can make any changes. Namely work, holidays, etc... All good problems to have I suppose. Here's a shot from a couple months ago, ACH at sunset...

I've always liked Type 3s and agreed, that photo should be in print.

Thank you gents, there's a chance the photo will end up in one of the tech articles I'm doing with European Car Magazine.

Still no updates on the M3. My life has been nothing but work as of late, however some of said work might be of interest to you guys. Here's one of my finals from my latest story with 000 Magazine, the most absurd P car of the moment.

Great pic of your e36. Have to say that color is the best for this body style IMHO.

Has work involved any track days/events/outings with said cars in anger ..... ?

Ha, a few years back when I was a staff editor at Modified and Super Street we would go on press trips often, and yes we would get to test cars on track. These days though, I'm shooting primarily and writing supplementary. OEMs don't typically want or need the photographer to know what it's like to drive the car, that's the writer's job. Although ironically, sometimes I do get taken by surprise and they will just throw keys at you. That's never happened at a track though lol.

In the commercial setting my clients always love finding out that I actually like cars and I'm not just shooting cars to pay the bills. Editorial shooting makes up a small part of my work in general right now, but I'm still a member of a journalist guild who hosts an annual track test day where OEMs bring out stuff they want people to write about. M cars, AMGs, ridiculous Chrysler products, GT350R, tough guy Camaros, Lotus, EVOs, STIs, etc etc etc... So that's my one day a year where I'm free to flog on other people's cars. Definitely was NOT allowed to drive the GT2RS lmao although I got to ride in it. It's stupidly fast.
