Default Tesla Model S: How common where you live?

I've seen at least three in each of the last five or six weeks; I saw three on Tuesday alone this week. I see them in DC proper and out here in the burbs with equal frequency.

Seems like these things are moving pretty well. What about you?

They are moving extremely well and I too have seen plenty of them.. Nice looking cars and I would consider one if supercharger stations were a lot more plentiful.

Yep...they just popped up out of nowhere. What was weird was I went to San Diego for a couple weeks in February and saw my first ones.

Not even a month later I saw 3 in one week. I continue to see 1 or 2 every couple weeks (most likely the same ones).

Memphis is Range Rover and Panamera/S-class central. Not too many fuel conscious people here.

Tesla Model S buyers aren't fuel conscious.. They're sold to people who want something truly unique, high tech, and trendy
Many buyers just want to be the first ones on the block with a practical luxurious electric car

I see quite a few in North Phoenix/Scottsdale. They are pretty impressive cars, but Eric captured the demographic of most buyers I think...

Maybe so.

Although what I really meant by fuel conscious was eco conscious. I'm sure they aren't buying them to save on gas bills.

I wish I saw them more often. The one time I did it was downtown during rush hour and I thought it looked excellent but didnt have time to stop, get out of the car, and go take a closer look.

I'm mostly referring to myself.. I'm not overly concerned about the environment and I leased an ML350 Bluetec mostly because of the cool tech and range:
