Default Post the Car that Got You Into Cars

Since I just hit 3.000 without even noticing......post the car (or cars) that got you into cars in the first place:

For me, seeing these two as a kid got me started on cars, and specifically on foreign/European cars for life. I can still remember the scene from the move "The Rain Man" where the Countach is coming off of the boat in the opening sequence....got me hooked

My brother's '49 Mercury. I remember being a little kid and seeing as just a frame, and then getting to go for a ride right after the Chevy 502 was dropped in it. Made me appreciate the amount of engineering that goes into building a car.

My older brother's '69 Charger had a huge impact on me as a kid. I remember my dad getting upset when he'd rev it because it would shake the house....and it wasn't even parked near the house lol.

^ First poster I bought and put on my bedroom wall in elementary school was a Testarossa. That and the Countach were my dream cars as a kid.

edit: Can't find any pics of my bro's Charger, but here's his AMC Javelin....another car I respected as a kid.

My dad's friend had a 67 camaro whenever I was growing up. I am talking early 80's. It was a tough car and the speedometer actually went up to 160 mph. Not that it would do it, but as a kid, I thought it would. I fell in love with the car at the age of about 7-8 years old.

Mr. Wolfe
My dad had a few these over the years. One was a pace car (white vert with orange stripes and orange interior). Love the way these things look with the early 90's ZR1 wheels.
