Default Which BMW M3s have you driven? Be specific

I have raved (test driven) only 2 e46 M3s on two separate occasions. Awesome car and I can see why so many of you rave about it.

I'm posting from my phone, so I'll edit a pic in later

I have driven the M3, the last one and owned the one before that. I hope that is specific enough.

E36 M3 US-spec - Meh
E46 M3 SMG - was at war with SMG from the start
E46 M3 6MT (owned & sorely missed)
E90 M3 6MT - nice but too refined at times

Next car will be a mint E46 M3 Comp....and then I'll drive it till it dies

I have driven Trae's E30
I have driven my friend's modded/built/stroked '95 E36
I have driven several other E36's either on test drives or friends' cars
I have driven 100k miles in my S52 E36
I have driven 60k miles in my two E46's
I have driven several other 6MT and SMG E46's either on test drives or belonging to friends (SMG sucks unless you are in S6 @ WOT shifting at redline)
I have driven a few 6MT and DCT E92's on demo's and test drives, DCT is an exponential improvement over SMG but 6MT is still more involving and fun IMO
