Smile An M3 window sticker

I'm sticking this in the off-topic forum because I'm not sure where else it would go.

I'm in the process of re-drawing my 2005 M3 window sticker but have been unable to find a suitable surrogate. I think I'm close but, it would greatly help if I knew what the exact dimensions were for the 2005 window stickers. Unfortunately my original is lost, though I do have some partial photos of it.

A little background: I have been reproducing Porsche window stickers at my business (www.stuttgartstudios.com) for about 5 years now. Don't worry. Not asking for money so put your wallets away. More or less just gauging the interest level in the BMW world -- more specifically M cars-- for the same reproduction prints I'm doing now in the P-Car world.

I'm going to try to use my own car as the guinea pig and get that done, but then perhaps try a few older E30 M3 window stickers since they are quite a bit less complicated in overall design. The newer BMW stickers have those opaque photos in the background and that spells "MFer" from the graphic design world to reproduce it accurately when ya' don't have the original photo.

Here's a photo of an original '88, and two '06 stickers. I think the 2005 cars used the same as 2006 cars.

A few questions in no order:

1. Did the opaque photo background in any model year stay consistent, or, was perhaps one 2005 M3 photo background different than another 2005 M3 background? Im under the impression there was consistency but Id like to know for sure.

2. Does anyone know the exact dimensions of the sticker? The Porsche ones are 16" x 10". Im guessing these are in that ballpark.

3. Does anyone know where to get a 2005 donor sticker. It just pays to have one in my hands to work with it.

4. Finally, is there any interest in the Bimmer world for such a product. Right now, I only plan to make one for myself because the Porsche stickers are a full time job as it is. But, if the market/demand is there in the BMW world, I am open to expanding the range. I have considered doing VW in the past as well. If there's little to no interest, then I have no desire to put forth the massive R&D to take on such a thing. I figure if there is little interest in a crowd of enthusiasts on an enthusiast car forum, there's no interest elsewhere either. Like I said, Id like to keep things committed to M cars if I even took on this albatross (Z cars also a possibility). I really dont want to be bothered with some soccer mom's X3 or 5-series wagon.

Anyway. That's that. Any help or guidance on steering me towards just reproducing my own would be a good start for now. Thanks.

I'd love a reproduction of my exact M's window sticker. Just a novelty but fun.

I'm gonna pass on BMWs for a while. Just not enough interest. Although I may put one together for myself. If things change, we can revisit. Thx.

I could see this for an antique/collector's car..but can't imagine why I'd want this for my car. Screams "hey look how much money I spent on a car!" to me.

The response wasnt great a while back, but since then I have reproduced my 1995 M3 sedan window sticker and have been working on a 2013 Lime Rock car. Two very different formats. I can post some samples if there is interest, or just keep them to myself. Not looking to break any forum rules. If there is demand Ill look into a site sponsorship. If not, NBD as I have plenty keeping me busy.
