Excellent thread!
I got my set of VCSL replica splitters from our friend in Montreal this morning and I am beyond impressed with the quality, count me in for a CF Diffusser 100% if available in the near future. I’m gonna try and get these on this weekend and I’ll post some pics. Also Dee514 Thank you for all of this! |

Guys, sorry been busy with work etc to update.....
But he is happy with how the diffusers came out. After another test fit (not by me, as it would seem biased), and he should be ready to start churning them out slowly (he is a one man team) in a few options. -Complete 1x1 clear coated, for guys not painting any part of it. -1x1 exposed weave thats clear coated, and the portion that is to be painted would in 4 x 4 and says that portion would be premired (I figure this would be cheaper than the above option, as it's less work) -He can also do it in a 2x2 weave ... also if anyone wanted the weave to meet in the middle to look like a V (I am not a fan of this) In case anyone is going to ask, he won't offer painting on any of them Here is some close up pics he sent over of his "prototypes", as he calls them. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() -derek

I actually think he makes better product than Alpha-N in Germany! And they are known to be pretty bloody good!
I have been lusting after someone that can produce proper carbon fibre stuff at reasonable prices and I think I may have finally found him! If you get the chance can you ask if he would ever consider producing a copy of the DTM diffuser?? http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showp...14&postcount=1 I have been wanting one of these for as long as I’ve owned a M3 in 2001 - but the original DTM diffuser was apparently not that well made ... no one has made a copy of it ever since and I don’t think you can get one any more. Would be awesome if he does : ) Tell him to keep up the good work!! Airbox next - he’ll give Karbonious some good long overdue competition! |
