Default DSC power hesitation

Recently had caliper work done and BMW dealership ran into problems bleeding the brake system. After new lines and various tests, they were able to bleed the brakes and gave the car back to me. Unfortunately, issues still persist. I will be brief.

Picked up the vehicle this morning. Drove home car and after 10 minutes of driving straight on the freeway home, I noticed some hesitation with the gas. It never stalled, but it appears the DSC is kicking in to hesitate power to the wheels. Upon parking, I also notice that DSC (stage red-2nd stage) can no longer be activated. Only stage 1 orange can be turned on. Holding DCS button for a few more seconds, usually turns DSC RED and turns on full slip to the rears wheels. This does not activate.

My thoughts are there are still some bubbles in the line that are causing the hesitation with power via DCS. Glass half full! Hopefully, with some light driving (clutch/brake pressing) those issues (air bubbles) will pass through the lines and return to normal. The inability to turn off DSC concerns me, though.

Please give me any comments or thoughts that come to mind. I wish the technician would have checked this considering the work that was done with all the lines, rebleeding SEVERAL times, etc.

Please share your thoughts. It is good to finally get the car back.

By the way, the issue is with my e92 2008 M3. My profile pic is of my older e46 M3 which I traded in.

When you press the DSC button and it turns the yellow sign in the dash, it's supposed to be OFF. By the way, DSC means 'dynamic stability control', but ABS stays operational. The 'middle' setting is 'MDM', which can only be activated with the 'M' button in the steering wheel, and allows some wheelspin and more aggressive handling maneuvers.

Never heard of DSC icon turning red, and manual doesn't mention anything, but will see what others reply. Maybe it turns something else off. Curious now.

Thanks for the reply. I was simply having a senior moment, I suppose. DSC is only on or off. I was confusing it with the TPMS which can cycle through orange to red. All is working fine and you are correct elp_jc all is normal.

Have a good weekend.
