Yes indeed. Love the way it rev-matches each & every time.

first off, you weren't ripping into a brand new M3 with 100 miles on it were you? you do realize there is a break in period and certain restrictions/limitations.

I also switched from the E46 6sp to an E92 DCT and do not regret it.

While still in break-in period on my E90 DCT, and still getting used to the paddle shifting, I accidentally downshifted when I meant to upshift and momentarily went to 7,500 RPM once.

I know you will hate this, but don't get the DCT. For everyone one driver that has it and loves it, there are 3 that have issues, not actual stats, but read the posts. The car is heavier and a different car than the e46. The top end on this is rediculous. I already got a huge ticket going over 110, luckily didn't lose my license. It will keep pulling and pulling until you are at 130 or more!

Off the line isn't the car's specialty, unless you rev it right and get a good jump. Between 3 and 3.5 RPMs is good to get the engine revving and then drop it.

The cab is awesome, I agree. Put it in power and give the car the proper break in period and upgrade the exhaust. The car really shines with a modest exhaust, even cat back frees up a lot of power. Good luck
