Default Indy mechanic in bay area

Hi,

any recs where to take my early '02 M3 in the bay area, i.e, an independent shop?

I go to a shop in Berkeley because i work over there, but in a few weeks I'll be working/living in SF.

thanks in advance.

Holland Car Care in San Mateo has always been great to me.

Thanks.. I just spent 2300 at a bay area dealer to get my control arm bushings replaced, and constant oil pressure valve replaced. $400 in parts. $1900 in labor. I feel like I've just been anally violated.

Next time, i'm going to try Bavarian Professionals in Berkeley. I Yelped them and WOW. everyone raves. 5 stars. Hope they are cheaper.

Bavarian Motorsport (Milpitas)
GarageWorks (Vallejo)
Performance Technic (Pleasanton)

Can't go wrong with any of these places.

Jeez! That labor price is beyond crazy! Plenty of MUCH better indy shops out there or forum locals that can do the work for cheap (like myself)
