Default Great weekend indeed

What a blast.

Calvin and I had an awesome time in our session on the track.

It had been a while since I had my car out, and it took some getting used to...but by the last session on Saturday, we were moving nicely. I'm sure I'm off my race pace for Putnam, but it was still a blast.

Nice photos. Steve Ellis's car actually didn't have the hewland or Xtrac, but it wasn't short too many other goodies, thats for sure!

Fall Line does an incredible job with fabrication.

I think Calvin can now attest to just how much fun one of the Euro's is in a lightened car! Course, its VERY light compared to a stock M3...But the body kit and big 18's and extreme cage add an incredible amount of weight back into the package....

Must put car on a diet and get out another 100 lb!

(It is there, it is just expensive and time consuming to find!)

If you've never been to Putnam, get out there, the track is great. I had one of the service writers from the dealership as a student, and in spite of the fact that he'd been there, by the end of the weekend, he was honking along TONS faster and had an even better appreciation for the track... lots there for everyone from beginners to old hands.

Alex.

Great pics Calvin
It looks like such a great time. I'm so jealous. I may have to start looking for events like this in my area. But that can only lead to trouble.

I'm looking forward to your vids, Cavin. I would have liked to ride along with you to see how you're coming along. You looked fast from my seat in my student's car!! Won't mention the late pass into t8.... oops too late! I bitchslapped S. for the late point by, told him that he was being too polite...

It was a fun weekend, I drove on total junk, heat cycled to death tires the whole weekend and had a ball.. everyone should spend a couple of trackdays on gripless tires, it's a hoot and educational too..
