Those that bought the Euro wheel from Tarnik on Ebay does the wheel feel too large in diameter? It is a very nice looking wheel but I wonder if it will feel like I'm driving a bus...

Nope. Feels great. I don't notice the diameter at all.

He doesn't change the diameter of the wheels, he changes the thickness. There is absolutely nothing negative about the increased thickness, other than it could be even more. It adds depth to the wheel, and increased confidence in the turns.

You can stick just about any wheel in there you want to.

I have an E46 M3 sport wheel in my car.

Its so much better.

Old post, but I bought a Tainik steering wheel and I love it.

I got the the one with the thumb rests. It's about as thick as any modern current model BMW and I don't notice that the diameter is larger becuase of the extra thickeness in the wheel. We're talking mm's here so its not noticeable to the eyel. But the feel is fantastic.

The only downside is that the airbag part I received wasn't in as pristine condition. It was good but did show some signs of wear.

I had the m sport 2 style on my 98. It was 385mm and it did feel a bit big. I currently have a momo montecarlo 350mm wheel and it is perfect. I just bought the thickened m tech 375mm from Tainik for safety / inspection reasons and will post up pics soon.
