Buy eric's kit from m50manifold.com. Comes with an extremeely detailed instruction guide

Buying the kit is worth while if you have the money. I didn't buy a kit, I just gathered all the necessary components myself and did it which worked out fine but I now need to go back and clean it up a little bit. A good winter project I think.

If you can spare $300, get the shark Injector for the M3, while not a custom tune it is well worth it with the M50 mani. You'll get some lower end torque back & that 500 rpm increase is a must have. Revs are also quicker.

+1 on that - best 1-2 punch I've ever done to the car - dyno'd after the M50 (but before the Shark) at 237bhp corrected at the wheels.

Shark Injector was the first thing I did to the car when I bought it

We have a (relatively) stock E36 in the house as well, and I was able to n otice a signifincant diff when driving them back to back
