Default 4.10 E46 M3 Differential - complete or part out

Selling my OEM LSD with BMW Motorsport 4.10 ring and pinion.

~80k miles on complete unit, purchased ~5k miles ago out of a stock convertible.

4.10 purchased new from BMW dealer this year.

3 race weekends on the diff since the assembly with 4.10 ring and pinion as well as new timkin pinion bearings and new crush sleeve. Ran on Red Line 75/140. Built by myself at a Porsche dealer with proper tools and measuring equipment (I'm a Porsche tech). 4.10 really wakes up the S54 on the track.

The M LSD gets a bad wrap but I really enjoy it on street tires and even on race tires in the rain. I'm finally going to a diffsonline race unit ($$$) to get the most out of my wide slicks. Posted some fast (pole position) qualifying times in GTS3 with this diff and always finished on the podium. Was the overall fastest in every wet / rain race session it's ever been in and I think that has something to do with the OEM LSD. For that reason I think with the 4.10 it's perfect for a budget street / hpde / TT car.

Can sell this as a complete unit with either VAC solid diff bushings, OEM diff bushings, or no diff cover at all. Can part out the ring and pinion for the right price, I'll even consider taking your stock diff as a core so I can use it as a spare. PM offers

I'm leaving it together for now but if you're serious and want me to pull the cover off for pictures, measurement I can do that too.

SOLD

Located in West Chester, PA
