the only issue i see is not having the tools:

press, pullers, 800 ft.lbs torque wrench... otherwise i see this in my future.

I'm sure it's easy to slap gears in there.. The hard part is lining them up PERFECTLY.

Even a few mm's off could cause you to need new gears within a few months or less.
