If you're going this route, I think Mishimoto makes valves which replace the block drain plug. Press on a hose, open the valve, and there you go.

Not sure what you're gettin at. All I was saying is that I've seen aftermarket petcock valves for oil pans and block coolant drain plugs. Me - I prefer the simple pleasure of raining coolant all over hell's half acre.

Edit - maybe I was thinking of Fumoto, not Mishimoto.
