Got it all back today. Spent a bit of time at the shop after work getting the super tech springs in.

Got the block painted

Rotating assembly is together.
Piston and rod install was a breeze with the 87MM Wiseco tool.

The arp studs are a bit short to utilize the provided washers. A quick search yielded that others have ran into this issue as well. Some backed out enough to get the washer on and some just installed without the washers. I chose the latter. But the #5 main has the oil pickup bracket. So I backed it out about 4mm for aesthetic purposes.

I had seen someone mention dropping a 5-7mm ball bearing into each bore. If I had any available i would have went this route.

Planning on having the timing cover on Monday morning before work.

The eBay headers showed up this week. I was not impressed. Ordered Raceland and will hopefully be happier with those quality wise. Should be here Tuesday/Wednesday.

But things are moving along nicely.

Riot racing cams are in

Everythingís timed off the damper markings. I will be leaving the valve cover loose to verify on flywheel before startup.

Flipped over to install the oil pan

You didn’t want to get the block skimmed since it was out of the car?

The guys at Axis Speed/ T-Hoff assured me it wasnít necessary, so I left it alone.

Raceland Headers arrived today. I sent them home with a co worker to weld up the threaded ports.

What are those for anyhow? Euro SAI?

Planning on having the engine back in the car this weekend.
