Is it bad that I'm hoping it doesn't so you'll try these out

Well I can weld... so if it doesn't fit and its a minor thing to cut and re-weld I'll make it fit.. if its completely out of fitment and a pain to cut/reweld then I will get these.. I did email megan if they are willing to give me a nifty discount I'd make a full thread for it (unboxing/install and dyno numbers maybe).

That would be sweet if you could. What eBay headers did you buy, if you don't mind me asking?

the typical manzo headers, so far the flanges do lay flat. also got extended studs just in case, (I feel like imma just recess them myself...) I am looking around SD area for people who has oem headers and make a template off of it for the flanges before I even try taking things apart. so I can correct the flange angle and whatnot before trying to fit them in.

If I can fit these in and they let me get a good discount on the megan one.. then Imma try run dyno on all 3 to see the difference.

Personally I'd rather spend $500 on something like fabspeed headers if they have another black Friday sale. That being said, hope these work well for people, always nice to have more options for people!

if the power gain is right about the same range as every other headers out there (except for the American racing headers, that thing performance wise is the best out there) and the sound it generates isn't so raspy then I don't see why it wouldn't be the best option out there specially for its price.

You are forgetting Supersprint.

Personally, If one is not going the Supersprint Stepped header or ARH 6-1 header route, I see no reason to roll the dice with these cheap asian made headers. Isn't Megan just one of the many eBay headers out there, like Manzo? Just stick with OE Euro headers. Super cheap. They fit perfect every time making installation easy (I can't emphasize the importance of this enough). They don't corrode. The welds don't crack. The gains are proven.

Even SGT headers fit like shit from what I have seen and read. Euro is the way to go unless you plan to step-up to a 'bigger-boy' header system. Do it right the first time, or do it twice.

I do have the muffler from megan, they sound great. Even BMW guys from the fun drive we had a month ago said the exhaust sounded awesome and these guys owns 700hp m6's and whatnot..

I've owned the exhaust for about 6months now I think and so far no signs of corrosion. almost perfect fitment as the muffler place I had it installed said "its the best aftermarket bmw muffler he had installed yet, almost perfect fitment just a little adjustment and it lines up nice".

The company is based in CA, production not sure. But so far if the time they put in the quality and design in this headers is the same as their mufflers I think its gonna be a great alternative to euro headers since it'll be cheaper. heck maybe if the fitment on these and power output equals or betters the euro's then that should put the price lower a bit for the rest of the competition.
